NUNEATON Town have suffered a major setback after Birmingham City recalled Amari’I Bell.
The left-back had impressed as a near ever present, but the Championship side have decided to bring him back well before his loan deal was supposed to end.
Boro manager Kevin Wilkin said: “It’s a major blow. We thought we had Amari’i until January at least.
“He did very well. As ever, we’ll get on with it and make the best of what we have.”
Bell, 19, missed one game due to injury with David McNamee coming in and impressing.
It is not clear if Bell will play for Birmingham's first team squad, however, his recall came out of the blue.
However, it is believed Boro are attempting to bring in another loan signing in the athletic mould of Bell before tomorrow’s visit of Salisbury City if possible.
